ABOUT THESE TERMS

DATUhouse.com is operated by DATU LLC. In these Terms, “DATU,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to DATU LLC.

These Terms apply to your use of our website and purchases from our store. Please read them together with our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, available through checkout. By placing an order, you agree to the terms applicable to that purchase.

USING OUR STORE

To place an order, you must be legally able to enter into a binding contract. Provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information, and use a payment method you are authorized to use. If you create an account, keep your login details secure and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We sell physical prints, framed prints and digital editions. Check the product description and your selected artwork, size, frame and mat options before ordering. Only the items and options described for your purchase are included.

We aim to represent products accurately. Screen settings, lighting and natural material variation can affect appearance. Room images and mockups illustrate presentation and may not show exact scale. These differences do not excuse a defective item or a material mismatch with its description.

PRICES, PAYMENT AND ORDER ISSUES

Review the price, applicable taxes and any shipping charges shown at checkout before submitting your order. Prices and availability may change for future orders.

If a pricing or product-description error materially affects an order, we will contact you to explain the issue and the available options. We will not charge an increased price or substitute a different product without your agreement.

Subject to applicable law, we may decline or cancel an order because of an unavailable product, payment failure, suspected fraud or an inability to fulfill it. If we cancel an unfulfilled order, we will notify you and refund the amount paid for the cancelled items, including associated taxes and applicable shipping charges, to the original payment method.

PRINT PRODUCTION, SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Our prints and framed prints are made to order. Production, shipping, delivery issues, order changes, cancellations and refunds are addressed in our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy. Those policies govern their respective subjects if there is a conflict with a general statement in these Terms, subject always to applicable law.

Contact Info@DATUhouse.com promptly if you need help. A change or cancellation request is not confirmed until we respond. Nothing in these Terms removes any right to a remedy for defective, damaged or incorrect goods, or any cancellation or refund required by law.

DIGITAL EDITIONS AND YOUR LICENSE

A digital edition is a digital photo file for your personal screens. It does not include a physical print or frame.

Unless a product expressly includes a different license, your purchase grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to download, store and display the file on your own devices for personal, noncommercial use. You may keep a backup copy and adjust the image to fit your screen.

The license does not include permission to resell, redistribute, share the file for download, publish it as a downloadable asset, use it commercially, or reproduce it as physical prints or merchandise. Contact us for written permission if you want a different use. These restrictions do not limit uses permitted by applicable law.

The artist or other rights holder retains the copyright. Buying a digital edition or physical print does not transfer copyright or grant broader reproduction rights.

Use an email address you can access at checkout. If a download is missing, corrupted or different from your order, contact us with your order number. Digital-edition refunds are addressed in our Return and Refund Policy.

WEBSITE CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Artwork, photography, written content, logos and other protected material on our website belong to DATU or their respective rights holders. Except as permitted by your purchase license, written permission or applicable law, you may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit that material.

GIVEAWAYS AND PROMOTIONS

Any sweepstakes or giveaway we offer is governed by its own Official Rules. Review those rules for eligibility, dates, entry methods, entry limits, prizes, winner selection and any effect of order cancellations or refunds on associated entries.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win a DATU sweepstakes. The applicable Official Rules explain the method of entry without a purchase and all participation requirements. A purchase does not guarantee a prize.

If these Terms conflict with a promotion’s Official Rules about participation in that promotion, the Official Rules control that issue. Promotion rules do not remove your rights under applicable consumer law concerning purchased products.

ACCEPTABLE USE

Do not use the store for fraud or other unlawful activity, infringe another person’s rights, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the website’s operation. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the store and its customers. This does not remove our obligations concerning existing orders or lawful refunds.

SERVICE PROVIDERS AND PRIVACY

Our store is hosted on Shopify. DATU is responsible for your purchases from our store. Separate payment or other third-party services may have their own terms, which you should review when using those services.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used and shared. These Terms do not by themselves constitute consent to marketing messages.

WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND YOUR RIGHTS

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but technical interruptions and errors can occur. Contact us if an issue affects your order or access to a purchased digital edition.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, consumer right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

GOVERNING LAW AND CHANGES

These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of Washington State, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version with an updated date. The terms disclosed when you place an order continue to govern that purchase; later changes do not retroactively reduce your rights in it. We will provide additional notice or obtain agreement where required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

PAYING WITH AFFIRM

If Affirm is offered at checkout for your purchase, you may apply for an eligible payment plan. Subject to eligibility. See lending terms at affirm.com/disclosures.

Affirm shows the available payment options, any interest or down payment, and your repayment schedule before you accept a plan. DATU does not make credit decisions or guarantee approval. Payment options are provided by Affirm’s lending partners, listed at affirm.com/lenders.

Your financing agreement is separate from your purchase from DATU. Our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy still apply to your order. Affirm is not a sponsor or administrator of DATU giveaways. Using a payment service does not establish giveaway eligibility or change the applicable Official Rules. No purchase or financing is required to enter a DATU sweepstakes.
