DATU is beginning with photography, thoughtfully chosen giveaways, and an ambition to give more artists a place to share their work.
We want you to find something you love, get to know the person who made it, and feel good about making it part of your life.
It starts with Series 00.
Our first collection is by photographer and founder Nick Patterson. For Nick, photography is the combination of a well designed camera, technical craft, and the ability to turn light and composition into a feeling.
These photographs are the beginning of DATU. We’re working toward future artist collaborations, choosing work for its composition, technique, creativity, and the response it evokes.
More room for artists.
The plan is to help artists reach new customers and take care of the selling and logistics, giving them more time to focus on their work. Photography comes first. Over time, we want to make room for other forms of art, too.
